El Pistolero: The Art of Swashbuckling

Alberto’s still got it.

El Pistolero

There comes a time in a man’s life

Where he realises he hasn’t got it any more

ASSick Boy said to Renton

He knows Glory Days

He’s heard Springsteen

And glory indeed he had

Still, past demons

And an unchecked edge

Have perhaps taken their toll

But he’s raging against it

The light might be dying

Fire’s still their though

And on a given day

Fireworks are still possible

As a spark jumps

A pistol shot echoes off the mountain

When he returns to Earth

The swashbuckling glint in his eye says it all

Sloth out
